Dianti

Dianti and I have had an amazing few months. After a small blip over Christmas when Dianti slightly strained her check ligament it was full steam ahead. We had qualified for the winter regional championships at elementary and the elementary freestyle to music. I didn't think we were going to make it but with a careful rehab program I managed to get her fit enough to compete. She was out of the placings in the elementary but it was a strong class and I was just thrilled with how she went. We then went on to place 9th in the music class in another strong class.

Summer qualifiers started and I knew it was time to give mediums a go. We still had lots to learn at this level but still qualified for the summer regional championships with good scores. At the end of July we went to Hickstead regionals where we gave it our all - we made a few baby mistakes which unfortunately lost us some marks but I smiled the whole way around the test.

I know there is still so much more to come from Dianti and at home we have already started flying changes and half steps. We will be aiming for the medium winter regionals and maybe have a little go at some advanced mediums.
