Camilla has been riding from the age of six. Her first pony was a very cheeky black Shetland pony called Rupert - he taught her to ride very rapidly! Since then, Camilla has done all sorts of equestrian disciplines from western to eventing, from show jumping to tolting Icelandic ponies and from side saddle to dressage.

As a teenager, Camilla's passion was show jumping and she jumped both in junior and senior BSJA.

After Camilla's jumping mare had an injury and was not allowed to jump anymore she turned to dressage. Camilla began to train with Jennie Loriston-Clarke and her daughter, Lizzie Murray. Her first dressage horse, Catherston Haydancer, was bought from their stud, Catherston Stud. 'Dancer' had already qualified for the Equilibra Dressage Challenge before Camilla owned her and Jennie was pleased to offer Camilla the opportunity to ride at this big event. Competing against the likes of Carl Hester on Fantastic Elastic, Camilla had her first taste of 'big boy' competition. Not only did they come 8th, they also won highest placed british bred horse and highest place amateur owner rider, with a finished touch of appearing in Horse and Hound alongside Carl, who won.

Camilla took her BHS exams, and started teaching in a riding school and at the local Pony Club. As her passion for dressage developed, Camilla started to specialise coaching in dressage.

Camilla and Dancer went all the way to Prix St George (PSG) before Camilla decided to breed from her mare. Dancer has since had four beautiful foals, keeping two: a dark bay gelding, 'Romario', by Rhondeo and a dark bay mare, Dianti, by DiMaggio.

There have been many successful competitions including PSG Music National Championships, National and International Young Horse Championships on more than one horse, representing England (South) at the Home International and lots of Regional and National Championships. Camilla also had the fantastic opportunity to ride as part of the dressage team at 'All the Queen's Horses' in 2002 at Windsor Horse Show for the Queen's Golden Jubilee.

Enthusiastic about her teaching, Camilla not only holds regular clinics around Surrey but makes regular visits to the Emirates Equestrian Centre in Dubai.

Camilla is presently competing Dianti, who is proving to be very talented and has been placed in National and International Young Horse classes, Novice Regional Championships and was recently Elementary Reserve Champion at the Midway Championships 2016. Their aim is to reach Grand Prix together.
